Gregor Tresher drops striking remix of ADRIANNA’s single ‘Wild Electric’

Illustrious German DJ and producer Gregor Tresher has released an epic remix of ADRIANNA’s latest techno heater, ‘Wild Electric’. Unleashed on July 5th via ADRIANNA’s imprint Temple House Music, the track received early praise from acclaimed electronic media group 6AM. Gregor started as a DJ in Frankfurt in the ’90s, and has since performed everywhere from Berlin to Tokyo and Sydney to Los Angeles. With music that’s marked by intricate patterns that unfold gradually, Gregor also incorporates vintage machines, creating an organic touch to his brand. He’s also released music on prominent labels like Drumcode Records, Cocoon Recordings and Ovum, while his own record label Break New Soil celebrates its 13th anniversary this year.

ADRIANNA is without a doubt one of the most sought-after electronic music artists right now. The London-based Tech House/Techno producer and DJ has residencies all over the world, performing alongside the likes of Adam Beyer, Cloonee and Charlotte de Witte to name a few. ADRIANNA has also received praise from notable publications like The Sun, DJ Mag Spain, Mixmag and CLASH Magazine. Her music merges warm vocals with hard, club-ready beats and has drawn comparisons to Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick and Deborah de Luca.

The original track ‘Wild Electric’ is a high-octane acid tech odyssey. It jumped to #5 on the Beatport charts in the weeks following its release. Gregor Tresher’s interpretation of the track has been expertly done, paying homage to ADRIANNA’s original by holding key elements while masterfully infusing his lighter, more progressive focus on melody and organic timbers. The remix is minimal yet impactful; a refreshing reimagining of such a blistering banger.

Gregor Tresher shared: “I really liked the vocals of the original track when I got the remix request, and thought it would be interesting to put them over an instrumental that’s kinda big room/warehouse sounding, so that’s what I aimed for with my remix”.
