What do you like about the song?
Honestly, the vocals from Fatboi are amazing, he got a super cool vibe. So Latin works perfectly with the percussion fill I made for this track.
What would you like listeners to take away from the song?
The happiness, the spicy vibe we love to spread. That we Latin and we gonna smash it.
Looking back, what were some of your earliest entries into music appreciation? And music production?
Well, that’s a good question because I’ve thinking that got many memories. ‘Mueve’ was one of my greatest releases a few months ago, and I totally smashed it. like, support from Martin Garrix, Tiesto, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Fisher, and Chris Lake.
I got a lot of videos for that tune in Ibiza, almost like getting full the storage of my phone with the track unreleased, a lot of people focused on me.
And talking about my music production. I made a few tutorials that helps me get more into my own style of music production. I still get a lot of fusion into the music, tons of Reggaetón vibe, Hip Hop, and Brazilian Funk and that works pretty well, for not being stuck in the music scene these days.
What would you like to achieve with your music? What does success look like to you?
Honestly, I would like to make a #1 track on Beatport. Some big support into Spotify. Also, last but not least getting a good track that DJs love. But I am always working around something that I would love to play as DJ. Not only making a Banger make thousands of numbers.
What key pieces of gear/software are you using to define your sound?
These days I got a lot of Software in my studio. Some of them are the 808 drum machine, the Roland TR-09, and some of the Arturia software. Also, lots of samples for Kontakt I think that’s the juice of my productions. Many DJs always ask for the perfect sample pack and as I said to them “there is no perfect sample pack”.
Outside of music, what inspires you?
Uff! sometimes I take some time to appreciate the work of Youtubers, Chefs doing incredible dinners, photographers making amazing pictures and designers. There’s a lot of inspiration out there.
What kind of relationship do you have with the internet? How does this inform your artistic expression?
Instagram is an amazing social media where you can share tracks, ideas, remixes, and sample packs. I think for DJs and Producers it’s the perfect way to make your own way into the music.
Which aspect of being an independent artist and the music-making process excites you most and which aspect discourages you most?
I think the most amazing part of making music is getting happy. Excited about your studio and love the things you’re making. Like when you hear it as a fan, not as a skilled producer. You get a feeling that nothing compares. When the tune makes you move, that’s it. Also, getting in touch with big Djs, sending the promo and they start to play. wow, that’s an amazing feeling.
But on the other side, it’s the low request sometimes, the DJs don’t get to play at big parties or festivals. I saw many friends ending their careers because they cannot live doing this.
How do you market and manage your music career? Do you have a management team or do you control everything by yourself?
Now I got a good team. We started working this year. I got a manager, a booker and some photographers. So we meet every week, talking about the things we can do to make it better. where we can play the next month or which label is releasing some cool music to play or even get signed to them.
As a performer or as a member of the audience, what single show has been the most memorable for you?
‘Mueve’, Definitely, released on Hot Creations.
Please suggest an album for us to listen to.
